Daphna That's a great reading review Vladys, and not necessarily of the book itself. I'm sure it happens to many, I know it does to me, that at times after a very challenging read I feel either burnt out or unable to start anything that would be less than the perfect last read. That's when I read what I refer to as in-between reads of which I have no great expectations and that just provide some calm after the raging seas of a challenging read. And after that I'm usually reenergized and ready for a new challenge.

Vladys Kovsky Thank you Daphna! I am happy to hear I am not alone in my periodically returning difficulty. Happy 2026 to you!

J.C. What an entertaining review, Vladys!
I could never read James Joyce after having had to read the 'Portrait of The Artist as a Young Man' at Uni. Henry James, yes, but I haven't read 'The Ambassadors' yet. The Murderbot sounds fun!

Vladys Kovsky Thank you Jeanne! I did read everything by Joyce at some point, except the unreadable. Then I thought I would reread Ulysses but no, at least this river could not be entered twice. Or maybe the boundary of the unreadable shifted
