I have determined that my works Murder at Old St Thomas's, Murder at an Exhibition, Murder on the Pneumatic Railway, and The Dancing Colonel are not part of a series although they are all connected by characters. It is confusing readers, who think they are based on the same main character, which is more typical for mysteries. I am removing the series designation at all other sites, and would like them removed on GoodReads, too. Thanks!

Yeah, I'm with Scott on this one. There are many, many, many serieses out there whose books have shared/common characters rather than the same main character throughout. I can't imagine readers get confused by such a thing in this day and age. If it walks like a series and quacks like a series, it's a series.
