Zahra Woods Just a question, but I thought an author couldn't review another authors account? Another group im in said it could come off as falsified

everyone can review books on amazon. What's not allowed is when 2 authors ask each other to write positive review for their books - this is forbidden

message 9: by Neil (new)

Neil Herbst Good day to all. My name is Neil, I’m a writer and fellow journey-taker, and I believe deeply in the power of Christian books to transform our identity.
I wanted to share a thought that anchors my own spiritual walk, and it comes from my new book, Rewriting Your Genesis:
"If you define your worth by what you do, you’ll always be chasing. Define it by who you are in Christ, and you’ll always be at peace."
What's one book or devotional that has helped you redefine your identity in Christ recently? I'd love to add some new titles to my reading list!

Ren Void THE END OF ME: For Those Who Seek but Never Find

35 years searching. Every spiritual path. Every promise of awakening.

Still empty. Still a stranger.

So I wrote what I actually saw — not what I was supposed to find.

"The End of Me: For Those Who Seek but Never Find"

Not self-help. Not hope. Just recognition.

Free on Amazon Dec 5-9.

Jenny I've just added a book to the thriller shelf:

The Roads Chosen by Ben Carlyle

I'm not the author: he can't - he's not online.

I hope that's okay with you.

I'd like to write about it, if you don't mind.

June The Roads Chosen by Ben Carlyle

I'm not the author, but I am a huge fan.

My review:

https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

It is some story, and I enjoyed how the author built the suspense; it became apparent that something was going to happen to the wayfarer at some point, although it was never obvious what. The time put into building the atmosphere through capturing the history of the strings the author pulls upon I found engaging.
The wayfarer admits to himself during a period of reflection how he has existed for a good few years off the back of pure luck and that he should not at any point take that luck for granted: telling the reader that his fortune is soon to run out. At the point where his luck fell short, the book became an edge of the seat, page-turner, and I failed to put the book down, and read into the small hours.
The story takes an unexpected turn late on, and the fate of the wayfarer is left resting in the hands of a family of dubious morals. A turn that switches the focus of the story; however, without the switch, the story would lose the credibility the author has worked hard to maintain.
Towards the end, it becomes clear as to why the author tugged on the previously mentioned strings and in doing so he creates the belief that the story might just be part-way true.

DA Rasmussen I have a perma free book up on Amazon, Apple, Barnes and Noble, etc.

Pandore: Dark Night of the Soul

Clay Donovan discovers a world beyond death when the past comes back to haunt him.

After a violent act of sacrifice leaves him suspended between life and the afterlife, Clay awakens to Pandore—a grim, ghost-ridden purgatory where lost souls linger, bargains bind tighter than chains, and nothing is free. Guided by Darcey, a sharp-tongued fiend with secrets of her own, Clay learns he can walk among the living… but only at a terrible cost.

As Clay intervenes in the lives of the dead and the dying, he begins to unravel a truth no soul is meant to know: his death is never meant to happen. Fate has been broken, powerful forces are watching, and every attempt to make things right risks condemning him forever.

Pandore is a dark urban fantasy about redemption, grief, and the dangerous hope of second chances—perfect for readers who love supernatural thrillers, morally complex heroes, and stories where the afterlife is just as broken as the world we leave behind.

Brenda Mohammed Zeeka and the Zombies II A Futuristic Sci-Fi Horror Thriller by Brenda C. Mohammed
I would love a review of my book ZEEKA AND THE ZOMBIES II.
The story is purely the author’s imagination, inspired by the Zika virus in 2016, and where Good triumphs over Evil.
The protagonist, Dr. Steven Sharpe, undergoes a deep transformation, evolving from victim to hero, while the antagonist, Master Zeeka, is psychologically complex, adding depth to the conflict.
With zombies, ghosts, kidnappings, and shocking revelations, the plot keeps the tension high.
In this new edition of Zeeka and the Zombies II: A Futuristic Sci-Fi Horror Thriller, the author Brenda Mohammed has added three more episodes, making it a four-episode novel.
The screenplay for Zeeka and the Zombies is a finalist in the 13Horror Screenplay Contest 2025.
Whoever reviews my book, I will review theirs.

Anna A Monk & His Spy
🚨 I mean it is FREE. There is absolutely nothing to lose! 🚨
My debut novel, A Monk & His Spy, is FREE on January 3rd and 4th! 📖✨ If you have a few hours to spare and an interest in what happens when a spy crashes a monastery, you can grab it for $0.00. 💸 If you read it and love it? Even better! 🙌

The Lowdown:
The Spy: Niamh is a burned operative hiding from the world’s most powerful criminal empire. After three years undercover, she’s been "rewarded" with exile to an alpine cloister at the end of the world. 🕵️‍♀️🏔️

The Monk: Brother Kayden likes silence, solitude, and not feeling anything "inconvenient". He’s currently holding onto his vows by pure spite. ⛪️🤫😤

The Conflict: Niamh is a "walking theological crisis with a sarcasm problem". She keeps poking at Kayden's silence and refuses to follow the rules. 🙊⚡️

The Vibe: A slow-burn thriller of secrets, sins, and chemistry that should absolutely come with a warning label. 🧨⚠️🔥

It’s twenty monks versus one spy—what could possibly go wrong? Neither is who they say they are, and catching feelings was definitely not in the briefing. 💖🤐

Grab your FREE copy here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0G6XM4XLT 🔗

(As a debut author, I am in a state of constant internal conflict: I desperately want to know what you think, but the idea of someone actually reviewing my work also makes me want to hide under my bed. 🫣 If you do read it and feel like leaving a review, just know you are fueling both my career and my existential dread. It would make my debut-author heart very happy—and very, very nervous. 💓📉💓)

A gripping medical thriller that blends science, suspense, and moral intrigue.
