Got it! Thanks for the free copy Jane! Will check this out & share my honest opinion about it on Goodreads, Amazon.in, Fable & StoryGraph ASAP. I am currently very ill & confined to the bed most of the time, but the plus point is that in between chronic wheezing coughs, there is plenty of time to read!
It is because of the severe air pollution in Mumbai, India - the air is 'caked' with aerosols. There is also a perpetual fog all over the city which is also giving most citizens pneumonia, bronchitis, chronic asthmatic attacks & respiratory lung infections of the weirdest kind on the spot. I think I should write a short story or novella on what is happening here!....hmmmmm.....

Serafim's life is turned upside down as her envious sister seeks to sabotage her, attempting to ensnare her partner. In a state of exhaustion with her life in turmoil, Serafim falls asleep on the train while travelling home from work one day. She unsuspectingly finds herself in Bridgton Valley, an idyllic place she has never heard of, and, as she later discovers, neither has anyone else. Following this, she experiences a series of strange phenomena prompting her to question her grasp on reality, made all the more difficult by the unrelenting drama in her life caused by her sister.
In her turmoil as the events unfold, Serafim finds it increasingly difficult to distinguish dreams from reality; where does one end and the other begin?
