Hi, I'm an author that started writing Christian Fiction in 2020. It actually started by me having a dream and praying about it. I have since been called to write Christian Fiction Romance, yes, you heard me correctly, Christian Fiction Romance. Who knew God was interested in that genre :). The dream basically was about our Lord seeking out His bride, etc... Before 2020, I NEVER viewed myself as an author even though I always loved to write.

Hi, all,I'm a Goodreads volunteer librarian who is a Christian and am just dropping in because I saw this group on Nsindaazi's page. Here are a few tips for promoting your book on GR in a way people appreciate.
If you're a new author, it's important and helpful to claim your author pages if you haven't already. You can find them by first finding your book on Goodreads, then tapping/clicking on the author link. If you scroll down the page you can click/tap on "Let us know" to start getting full access to your author page. Follow all of the directions carefully. Then you can make your page your own. Don't forget to add your author website link if you have it and an author bio. A photo is also good.
As a reader, I look for that. Also, please, please, please read and follow all group rules on how to promote your books :) Nothing turns readers off more than people who don't follow those. I would like to say that Nsindaazi did a lovely job of introducing himself on a group I'm in.
Plus, follow the threads where you do this in case people respond. I can't tell you how many times I've helped or offered to help authors but not heard back from them. Ditto with potential readers :)
I won't be sticking around much, but please use the Goodreads Librarian group when you need help.
Before January, 2026, I'd have sent Nsindaazi a PM to help him, but Goodreads has removed that option.

You can claim it by tapping/clicking on it, scrolling to the bottom and tapping/clicking on the small "Let us know" and going through the steps. Once that processes (I think it takes a few days) you can claim it and personalize it.
Also, I fixed that strange series name with all of those letters. Is that other series the actual name you want for a series?

Hi, everyone. I'm K.A. Ramstad, and I write middle grade and YA fantasy with Christ-honoring themes. Don't worry, I don't glorify the occult in my stories. It's just fun fantasy that's similar to Narnia, Peter Pan, that kind of thing. I have an upper middle grade book published called "Friend of the Dire Wolf (published in the volume Of Dangers and Dreams)." I also have a middle grade book that will be released this winter called Starlight, a retelling of the Ugly Duckling (only the MC is a Northern Lights-making fox raised by dogs).
