Yvonne, your comment that there are "so many dates and names thrown in that it is hard to determine what is important and what is just a footnote," is a cogent point and very helpful. When writing historical nonfiction I think about individuals wanting to do more research themselves, wanting to include as much information as I can, but I can absolutely understand the potential for feeling overwhelmed by names. I'll remember this comment as I work on my next book. Thank you.
