One of my books listed under the incorrect author > Likes and Comments

Hi there. I was hoping you could help me. I have a short story in a book titled The Cancer Collection, from January Ember Press. Unfortunately, I was listed as a contributing author, but it was put under a different Alexander Michael. This has happened to me before, as the name is kind of common, but this other Alexander Michael is a strange author page. I'm not sure if it's even a real person. I will provide the links to my real page, and the incorrect 'Alexander Michael' page, below.

I wish there was a way to stop this. Like I said, it's happened before. Below is the 'fake' Alexander Michael. If you look at their books, it's very very strange. Is there no way to delete it altogether? I'd say it's a fake profile or a hacker. The book titles are odd. I'd hate people to think it's me, which has already happened once or twice. If you look at all of their books, you'll see four versions there of one of my books, titled 'Home'. None of them are real or correct. If you look at my list of books, on my page, you'll see the correct book page for 'Home'. Easy to tell the difference because it has ratings. Are those 4 dead Home book pages able to be deleted?

While we're here, I was just wondering if I could please get 'Ethereal Nightmares: The Final Awakening' from Dark Holme Publishing added to my written books too. I have a story in that one too. Please add to the correct Alexander Michael page!

I'm not sure why you think another author with your name must be a fake.

Normally I wouldn't think that, but the list of books under their name looks quite dodgy. I discovered that books were being put under that other name at the same time a few people I know made fake profiles to review bomb my books, so I might have been paranoid at the time and biased. Maybe it's not fake, but it seems to be a big accumulation of all different Alexanders being put under that incorrect name.

That is to separate you from the default profile.

That will just complicate things. You could ask support if they would put you on the default profile. The downside is that you might get other authors' books on it.

Hmm that's true. Maybe best to keep as is
