Lori I loved the podcast but none of the books ever did it for me. I don't know if it was a case of the story not translating well between different mediums or what.

Ergative Absolutive For what it's worth, I'd never even heard of the podcast when I read this book, but I quite liked the book! I still haven't gotten into the podcast, but I keep meaning to.

RavenT How to Survive Camping: The Man With No Shadow by Bonnie Quinn has the same vibe

message 4: by RavenT (new)

scottie a someone who loved the podcast, i did enjoy this book. i suppose there are parts of it that can be called "cozy" but it can certainly get very dark. the book definitely doesn't stand alone tho

message 6: by Amy (new)

Amy Mills This book was actually my introduction to the podcast. Was I confused? Yes. Did I love it enough to seek out the podcast? Also, yes!

message 7: by Dez (new)

Dez Schwartz I loved this weird little book. lol

message 8: by E. (new)

E. Cryptonaturalist podcast has a book coming out in February called Strange Animals, it doesn't stand alone and I don't actually have attention span for podcasts but I am so curious how people like his vibe in novel form so I thought I'd mention it as another podcast with a tie in novel.
