I loved the podcast but none of the books ever did it for me. I don't know if it was a case of the story not translating well between different mediums or what.
For what it's worth, I'd never even heard of the podcast when I read this book, but I quite liked the book! I still haven't gotten into the podcast, but I keep meaning to.
a someone who loved the podcast, i did enjoy this book. i suppose there are parts of it that can be called "cozy" but it can certainly get very dark. the book definitely doesn't stand alone tho
This book was actually my introduction to the podcast. Was I confused? Yes. Did I love it enough to seek out the podcast? Also, yes!
