I loaded a placeholder into GoodReads for my upcoming book a few months ago, including the ISBN. Yesterday I created the book and preorder in Amazon with the final cover and the same ISBN. Now both the placeholder entry and the "real" versions show in my Author Dashboard in GoodReads. The ISBN has not changed, but the title is now official "The One Who Ghosted Me". How do I either remove the placeholder or collapse these into 1 entry?? ISBN = 979-8-9900071-3-0, ASIN: B0GDSKD3LS. Thanks in advance.

Ok, thanks. Does that mean I will need to use the "merge" functionality? Sorry, I'm new to this. Why Jan 12?
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...A librarian will have to merge them for you. You can post here again after the maintenance is over.
(If the ISBN is for the Kindle edition)

Today I tried to combine the two editions. It sort of did the right thing, but now the placeholder information is showing as the default (including the ASIN that was assigned to the placeholder) instead of what came in from Amazon when I put the book up for preorder. How can I fix this? Thanks in advance.
The ISBN is mine that I purchased from Bowker. 979-8-9900071-3-0. And the ASIN that Amazon assigned when I uploaded it for preorder is ASIN : B0GDSKD3LS.
That ISBN is for the ebook. I also uploaded the print version to Amazon as well. What I see now is both "editions" are there, and the cover is there as a separate edition, but not the default for the entry.
I don't understand the question. The only place I've uploaded the ebook for publishing is to Amazon.
Now my other book, She's Off Limits, is gone. What happened??? This discussion here wasn't about that book at all. Please restore She's Off Limits. That book is published elsewhere and is not part of the reason I opened this posting thread.
