Daughters of Olympus is a retelling of Persephone and Demeter's myth from both of their perspectives.

Song of the Six Realms features celestial deities.

Rebecca Roanhorse's Between Earth and Sky trilogy has deities and priests as core elements of the story.

The Book of Heartbreak features angels and other spiritual entities.

Wild Reverence by Rebecca Ross is about a number of deities.

Really looking forward to reading Lauren JA Bear's Aphrodite in Pieces for this.

I really loved The Bear and the Nightingale for this. It has a major secondary character who is a priest in the Eastern Orthodox church and much of the novel's framing is about the balance between a Christian culture and respecting the old ways and stories of folkloric beliefs and practices.

I'm a huge fan of Nghi Vo's Singing Hills Cycle novellas, which are loosely connected stories about a traveling cleric whose job is to collect and record stories. The first book, The Empress of Salt and Fortune, was more political fantasy, but subsequent books have had more folklore and horror elements. I just read A Mouthful of Dust, which involves a famine demon and also a ghost.

For anyone still looking for recommendations, the protagonist of the Cemeteries of Amalo series by Katherine Addison is a prelate of the god of death within the imperial elf-church. The series starts with The Witness for the Dead, but I'd recommend reading The Goblin Emperor first.

I love both of these series so much. Perfect reads for this challenge.
