Henry Avila The play is harsher than the film, still interesting.

Julio The Fox Thanks, Henry. Shannon receives something of a reprieve in the film though not the play. Nono is the poetic soul lost in the modern material world. I agree with you that the conversation between Kerr and Burton is the best scene in the movie.

Henry Avila It was quite interesting of two flawed humans trying to communicate. Both need companionship and especially love.

James McCormick Really great review, Henry!!! My favourite playwright of all time! I did my MA dissertation on the role of the misfit in Williams' work, focused on The Night of the Iguana, A Streetcar Named Desire and The Glass Menagerie.
