Hilarious book! The bits with Ted Turner cracked me up. The world, indeed, is the problem--a problem often caused by the humorless and irony-impaired. Sad . . .
I wondered if Everett knew Ted Turner and Jane Fonda personally, and they also found it funny. I think many people would be proud to find themselves satirised in one of his novels.
