Actually, it will focus on them a little less. This pair of novels (really one book the publisher divided in half) is an historical novel more than a romance. So there is a lot of politicking in part II. That said, they remain at the center of it.

I will say, I did start the book for the romance, but I definitely enjoyed the plot alot. I was fascinated when I first learned about Alexander and Hephaistion's relationship and wanted to read more about them. I stumbled upon your book on a reddit thread and honestly it truly blew my mind, your work is truly remarkable!
