Michael Thomas Basically, my work, THE LAST GENERATION, was composed to understand myself better, to pin some sort of meaning onto my experiences. But, a significant motivation for my work's release is to have it settle before the eyes and into the minds of those experiencing that darkness most similar to my own. It's not a self-help novel, as there are no magic solutions to depression... Anyways (again), with that expectation for those idealistic childhood years to proceed in the same Manor, Seth's path was altered by a bullet of mental health so forceful, that Mother was pressed to deliver Seth to a facility (Epidaurus) that will extract the innocence of who he was, and can no longer be. While at Epidaurus, Seth will become entangled to those residents of multifarious peculiarities with far more diverse bullets impeding their transitions into maturity than his own (Jo-Jo, Pregnant Mary, the Preacher, Pez D Spenser, Mad Mike, Ollie Crums, Peter the Rock). Yet, they'll assist Seth in that metamorphosis to whom he shall ultimately become, and what he must do... Transcending through its multiple layers of meaning, at the iron core of THE LAST GENERATION is a very simple concept: why can't we be the way we wanna be, why do we have to be the way that we are?... It's an extremely difficult read, and not recommended for the average leisure reader. But, anyone looking for a literary challenge, may either contact me for a PDF copy, or download a free copy on my website: thelastgeneration.info

Hi Michael :)

I've started reading your book, many thanks for a free copy.

Its a complex read, but is also very clever- intellectual to a point of being erudite, and multi-layered. I could definitely appreciate that many years of deep thinking are behind the pages.. unfortunately I couldn't read it fully, I am just not the right reader for you ( sorry...)

Please allow me to make a suggestion- if you present your work as a "mental health story" or/and a societal satire, this might attract the right sort of reader, who can truly appreciate your work.

Good luck :)

Jasmine

Michael Thomas I understand Dr Jasmine. It's not a work for everyone. I appreciate the effort, and honesty.

Many wishes of success to your series of works,

Michael Thomas

Fiza Pathan Hi Michael! I would love to have a pdf copy of your book. Feel free to send it to me here -

pathan.fiza@gmail.com

You'll get my honest opinion on it on Goodreads, Amazon.in, StoryGraph & Fable. I am totally intrigued! Give me some time because I am ailing severely (but I'm not dying, not to worry LOL!) & have got a really hectic teaching schedule (AS & A Level & IBDP teacher among other things!).

Hope we can support each other! Lots of love & blessings! :) :D

Fiza Pathan Thanks Michael for the free pdf copy! I've already started it & I think after reading even Mehmet's awesome review of it, I think I am certainly going to like it - especially because it is 500+ pages - awesome! :) :D

Anyone else from Mehmet's/Jane's group who is an indie-author & who needs an honest review for their book or are even willing to do book review swaps (either...or!) can feel free to contact me on pathan.fiza@gmail.com or WhatsApp me on 9820763499 (don't forget the Indian code). I'll get back to you ASAP because I have a hectic work schedule. I can easily read free pdfs or free Kindle copies available on Amazon.in - take your pick! :) :D

Steve Goldsmith I did read The Last Generation, and provided (hopefully valuable) feedback to Michael Thomas. He read my books as well (all 5!).

Now, I think that we will collaborate a bit.

Good times!

I am certainly keen on collaborating with you Steve, Mehmet & another sweet indie-author Thom Gordon for a written cum Zoom interview session on my teaching portfolio website fizapathansteachingportfolioforpgcite.com

I feel we all have the welfare of Gen-Alpha & Gen-Z students on our minds, especially with the growing issues they are facing at schools globally, but certainly on my turf for sure! I hope we can all discuss in an interview form & also through our books various aspects of what it means to be a student in the Age of AI or the Age of Data Science & Information Overload; & also how as psychologists, authors, educators, techies etc., we can aid in their welfare & betterment, especially through our books.

Yes, I think the Good Times are here! :) :D

If any other indie-author who is a part of Mehmet's & Jane's GR Group wants to join us in our collaborative efforts on my website teaching portfolio then always feel free to DM me here -

pathan.fiza@gmail.com

or

WhatsApp me on 9820763499 (Don't forget the Indian code!) - but please text first.

Interested also in getting honest book opinions from me, please also feel free to DM me accordingly. Please let us all support each other! Thanks. God be with you all! :) :D
