This book has stayed with me, and while I gave it 4.5 stars, reading your excellent review is going to make me bump it all the way to 5. It was so perfectly written. This one might be worth a reread via audio some day, after hearing about the narrator. Thank you!

I should have liked it. I read it twice, a couple years apart. Just never clicked.
Such an excellent review and reminded me of some of the reasons it touched me too… some scenes I will never forget. I ended up reading I and listening to the the audiobook (which I purchased)… an unforgettable experience! 🤩📚😎
