Oh, I don’t know what you wrote there, but I really enjoyed this one. The film was good but too watered down :/
It was! I'd loved to see more of the friendship between Poppy and Alex and it felt a bit shallow? Quick summary on what I wrote about the book: first one I read from this writer, since I listened to the book I didn't get a good sense about when there was a current vacation or a past one 😅 I really liked the style of writing and loved it as a read for when you're looking for something lighter and easier :) hope this helps!
I listened to this one, too - it was my first audiobook! Yes, I thought Alex was a bit shallow in the film - it didn’t touch on the trauma of losing his mother, and how it shaped him and his relationships.
