Tell me you didn’t read it without telling me you didn’t read it
Imagine being a "christian" who supports the murder of innocent people. Thats some serious mental gymnastics there
I'd like to know where you got that the author is a nazi. I haven't gotten that from her books or posts.
I follow the author on social media and have not seen anything fascist or hateful and certain nothing about being a Nazi. In fact, the author is very supportive and seems genuinely loving.
A central tenant of fascism is controlling what others think and consume… kinda like how you’re spreading lies (ie: “the author is a Nazi”) and telling people to not read her book without formulating their own opinions on the author’s writings.
She posted an Instagram story saying she stands with ICE and everything they’re doing and people being arrested or “whatever happens after” before she deleted it and went private when she realized people didn’t like that haha in case anyone was curious why she’s a terrible person.
As a fellow author who’s spent time communicating with Taylor both professionally and non professionally, I can tell you that she’s an incredibly kindhearted and compassionate person. I haven’t read her books (yet) but this review seems rather immature and petty.
Just because someone smiles in your face doesn't make them not a fascist. That quiet acceptance because someone isn't outwardly violent or rude to you is how we end up with people being stripped of their basic human rights. Anyone who supports ICE, supports fascism. Period
Goodreads is not the proper forum for airing political differences you might have with an author. Cyberbullying in any form is not protected speech, nor is it virtuous or honorable simply because the bully thinks so.
