Agreed. I was astounded by how dumb some of his “advice” was and creeped out by how much he talked about “getting laid”
I'm a woman, and I thought this book was interesting. Did you actually read the book? Galloway talks about why this is relevant to women. When young men aren't doing very well, who are young women going to partner with? Also, it's pretty well established in history and sociology, that it's really bad for society (including, you know, women) when young men aren't doing well.
your whole world is built by/on men being and doing good. your phone, your computer, and this website is all done by a man.
Galloway still thinks hes got to "protect, provide and procreate." women. Young men are in crisis but his strange combination of macho, making money and 'loving' women too oversimplified.
Well, I do think that these issues are not a woman's responsibility, but Galloway's point here is that these issues have a ripple effect
I agree with a previous comment — did you read the book? :)
It’s directed to men (not asking women for pity) and is directed to help address the crisis of men not adding value to their communities in the ways needed and realistic in a modern world.
Women should care because the current state of men in America is negatively affecting absolutely everyone. I don’t think Galloway would disagree that women have shouldered a lot of that burden.
Sounds like a complete lack of any intention to view this outside a single subjective perspective. Victim mentality won’t improve your overall quality of life, Dara.
