First of all - I'm sorry you're having such a hard time right now, I'm sending some strength and hope all will be better soon 🙏🏻
But I can absolutely understand the feeling of having just read an incredible story and not being able to process it emotionally just yet, especially such a complex and demanding one ❤️ Maybe one day you can do a reread, when your brain is ready!

Im sorry that you are going through such a challenging time but I am glad that you have been able to have a book where you enjoyed the writing to keep you company. I hope that things look up and perhaps at some point down the line if you reread this book it will be able to bring you a different interpretation and reading experience all over again.

"Complex and demanding one" are a great way to put this. Suanne's stories always made me feel small. I remember when I finished both An Exaltation of Larks and A Charm of Finches, how much I struggled to write my thoughts. I had to go above my comfort zone ( because English is not my mother language), trying to do at least a tad bit of justice to them. They were out of my league stories. So, this time, under my circumstances, I won't even try. 🫣

Hey Evie, you have no idea how happy I am, too, to be able to get totally immersed in the Three Hares journey and to live the full experience of The Great Dane. 😅
I only wish my brain could fully process the story’s grandeur and complexity and translate it into coherent English, so I could write a review worthy of it. 😞
