Based on what you mentioned about author notes and duplicated chapters, I’m concerned you may have received an outdated file rather than the final published version. I’ve had to resend the final edited file to a few of my ARC readers and have Amazon push the correct file to readers, as the incomplete, unedited, WIP was uploaded by accident.
