Information about the Paul Bunyan Canoe Derby came from 643 news articles from the Historic Star Tribune Archive at the Minnesota Historical Society Gale Library, which were collected and researched over several months. Other sources included first person interviews with participants in the race.
I don't expect everyone to love the book, but I do expect them not to post false information about it. I would ask that you remove or amend your comment.
