Your review is highly entertaining! Just finished this myself, thought the horrior scenes were good and the rest schmaltzy- about what I expected!

I'm sorry! I had never read a Sparks book, so perhaps I didn't know what I was getting into. My wife warned me, but I read it anyway!
LOL - and that's exactly how I felt reading this book: I could feel the despair seeping into me.... thank God I picked this up at the library instead of spending money on it.
