Better than the first one and I loved that one, too! Forget what you think you know about Fae stories and Fae worlds. Kari Lee has introduced us to something unique in the realm of Fae and Human interactions, and I am captivated. Lyra Wells is the Guardian of the divide between The Dweller and the Human worlds in the small town of Wishville, Vermont. As part of the accords between the worlds, the town holds four Wish festivals a year. During this summer festival, a popular citizen is killed and healing stones and mixtures from the Dweller world are tainting human holistic products with mixed and sometimes dangerous results. It is up to Lyra, along with Calderis the Dweller Enforcer, and Wishville Chief of Police Holden Thorn to put their worlds to right while also preventing a nosey and talented journalist from discovering the truth behind Wishville. Great read. Highly recommend it.
