Leon Collin Hi everyone!

I'm offering free ARC copies (ebook PDF/epub) of my novel ODYSSEUS, releasing January 2026.

The pitch:
The Odyssey as a psychological thriller. After 20 years apart, Odysseus and Penelope reunite as two war veterans—both destroyed by battles on opposite fronts. He fought gods and monsters at sea. She ruled Ithaca alone, besieged by 108 suitors. Now they must learn to recognize each other. And that's harder than winning any war.

Two wars. Two battlefields. No winners.

For fans of: Madeline Miller (Circe, The Song of Achilles), Jennifer Saint (Ariadne), Claire North (Ithaca), Costanza Casati (Clytemnestra)

Goodreads: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

What I'm offering:
- Free ebook (PDF or epub)
- No deadline pressure
- No obligation to review (though it would be amazing!)

Interested? Comment below or DM me and I'll send the file!

Thanks,
Leon G. Collin

Laura Hello - I'm not sure how to DM you but I'd love an ARC copy of your book, I've read all of the above books you mentioned and am currently reading Pat Barker's trilogy about the women of Troy. Please feel free to get in touch or reply about how I can get a copy if the offer is still available!

Many thanks in advance

Leon Collin Hi Laura!

Thanks so much for your interest! I want to give you a clear picture: ODYSSEUS is a psychological thriller (think Dan Brown meets Ken Follett) that reimagines the Odyssey with modern pacing and emotional depth.

Penelope is a strong, strategic character – definitely not just "the waiting wife" – but Odysseus is the protagonist. It shares Pat Barker's unflinching approach to war's consequences and psychological trauma, but it's more of an action-driven thriller with traditional catharsis rather than literary feminist fiction.

If you're open to a thriller reimagining with Barker-like emotional realism but faster pacing, you might enjoy it! Just want you to know what to expect.

Still interested? If so, just reply with your email address and I'll send you the epub/PDF directly.

Best,
Leon

Laura Thanks Leon

That sounds really intriguing and I'm definitely up for a read - fast paced emotional realism. I read lots of reimagining of myths but this twist on it sounds really interesting and I'd love to give it a read!
