Wow I was curious about the title but 700 pages, that covers a big slice of history Clodia. I remember those events even though I was a teen.
It does cover a lot and the first half reads fast though the second is slower. But, for me, it was definitely worthwhile: I'd known the name Entebbe but never knew the event. And things like the war in Lebanon which is complicated is done well, as is the whole history of Palestine and the PLO with Arafat's changing strategies, before the emergence of, e.g. Hamas. I learnt so much.
Hopefully I can get on to Racine now!
