I liked it more than you, but I have a weakness for this type of historical fiction with lots of characters all mixed up and interwoven. I rated the trilogy 4/3/4, and thought the middle book was weaker...
That's good to know. I know it's a weakness of mine, once there are cavalcades of characters.
