Awww thanks! I saved up all my energy by not reviewing the other 160 books I read before this one ; )
Love this review Kelly! I am old enough to remember his scandal with Oprah 🙂. I was just thinking the other day about the Frieda books and wondering how many she pumps out every years. I've never had the desire to read her stuff - not sure why….

They are SUPER easy to listen to/follow along with, but her crazy fanbase ruins things LOL.
you suck turtles.
Not really. Still the funniest response you have ever gotten lol. I'm one of the oldies who remember this guy and have no interest in him and this but I'm so glad you loved it! Great review!!
That is still my favorite comment too. I should add this to the shelf I have with that name to show that I suck turtles by both reading things right as well as wrong ; )
I think he def used AI to research this book, and I expected to hate it, but I loved it and I’m not mad about it!
He admits to that, but I’ve seen a lot of comments saying the repetition of phrases is this “tell” of AI where I think it was pretty clear it was a literary device. I’m with you - loved it!
Great review! Even though mine was just a 3. I loved him even more when "she" outed him. Made up or not, that was a powerful book. I just don't think I am totally ready for "that approach to storytelling." I could use a touch more punctuation. But, I am happy to know that Mary told Sue who told Linda who told Christy who told Marleen who told Sarah who told Molly but she already knew so she told Suzanne who told Mike and then Mike started tell all of his guy friends (I won't list them all) then the kids found out and they started telling all of their friends (names redacted) and the teachers heard and spread and then the kids ending up in detention for talking about swinging parents. :)
I get that about the punctuation and I blame Cormac McCarthy for making it a popular technique to copy hahahaha. And I loooooved the “grapevine” - Elin Hilderbrand makes fun use of that frequently.
