Thanks for the reminder. A few years later queer bookshops in Canada experienced the same thing. The cause was the same: the religious lobby and a conservative government.

I have seen mention of what in Canada through the Canadian author Stan Persky - and of course in the USA similar witch hunts are still going on - thank you for your kind words
