Cool concept but isn't this 20 years outdated now? For a field like medicine I think 20 years is significant.
Well, the underlying explanations of the primary migraine mechanisms are not outmoded, IMO (the layperson explanations of these aspects + the practical aspects are perennial). There is a new wave of abortives and preventatives (designed primarily for migraine), but these new meds don’t really shift the pathophysiology much (it’s still very much an individual specific and lengthy process to figure out treatment options). Though I’m speaking as a patient not a practitioner!
