I am glad you enjoyed it despite it being short and not as fleshed out ❤️ It's true some books really benefit from more depth in the writing!
I have only one Clive Barker book. I bought it when it was chosing in a book club I was part of. The book club fell apart and I never got around to reading that particular book. After reading your review I realize I must look it up and give it an honest chance. Because this one sounds bloody epic. Beautiful review JJ!

Thanks, Maggie. Yeah, this would have been great as a full-length novel.

Thanks, Kealyn. He is definitely talented and has a fantastic imagination.
Nice - great review! I hope to read this this year - I love the Hellraiser movies (well, most of them lol) and have wanted to read the original story for ages. Your review has convinced me it's time to move this up my list!

Thanks, Tabitha. Hellraiser 1 and 2 were pretty good, but they went off a bit after that, but I thought Pinhead was an amazing horror character. I hope you enjoy!
My favorite Barker story, hands down. Try your hand at The Scarlet Gospels. It's not "as good," but it's a nice continuation.
