Thank you Carol, for reading and commenting on the novel. I have based my fictional (!) interpretation of Jesus' relationship with women in part on historians' analyses of the Bible, and also on the alternative accounts of Jesus' life as depicted in certain gospels that never made it to the New Testament, because they were not in line with what the nascent Catholic Church wanted to teach. I am grateful that you took a chance on this novel, and hope you weren't too offended. It is, in the end, a novel, not a biography.
