Ashley Gast I am not a fantasy reader really, but I have wanted to get into it. I recently read Fourth Wing and loved it!!! I do plan on finishing that series. I would love some more book/series recs that would be good for beginner fantasy reader (nothing super complicated!)

Alsooo something that is not ACOTAR or Throne of Glass.

Thanks!! :)

Aarya Lightlark is one of my favss 💖💖

✨ayla✨ {blood runs thicker than water} Divine Rivals is really good. It is romantasy (romance/fantasy) so I don't know if you're into that or not but it is decently clean for a romance book! It is part of a duology. The second book is Ruthless Vows.

Kay acotar is an easy intro to fae fantasy, the novice is a good way to get into lotr kinda fantasy (dwarfs, elves, orcs) it also has a pokemon vibe, cinderella is dead was a great book the fantasy element was more subtle

additional point, if powerless interests you, read red queen first

samantha any YA fantasy will be good to get started! if not, quicksilver is very good!

M.D. Engel If self recs are ok, I have an sci-fi romcom novella series that you may like. They are all free to read on Kindle Unlimited!

(A little different take on the "fantasy" ask, but these are SWEET & EASY reads!)

Gravity, Grease, & Soybeans --> Opposites Attract + Forced Proxmity
Tethers, Truth, & Constellations --> Friends to Lovers + Forced Proxmity
Dissonance, Drift, & Realignment--> Second Chance Romance + Forced Proxmity
Sparks, Static, & Mishaps --> Insta-Attraction + Forced Proxmity

HII!! Some of these might have been mentioned so excuse me if they have been!!

- Shatter me series --> imo the first book is difficult to get through but once you push through the rest are easy reads!! I can get through a shatter me book easily in an hour or so!!
- Powerless --> Not one of my personal favs but I can say it was an easy read!! The chapters kept me hooked!!
- A Darker Shade of Magic --> I loved this book (and the whole series) to pieces!! The chapters were an easy read!!
- Lightlark --> The first book was such an easy read but the second is difficult to push through sometimes!!
- Caraval/OUABH series --> All chapters kept me hooked and took my heart with it!!!
- Assistant to the villain --> It's such a funny series and I love it so much!!

Hope this helps!!
