I can't believe we have never learned his name!!
The book was great but why not tell us his name? Was he always "The One" for her or just a teen in her mind. At one point I wondered if he even existed. Perhaps someone has an answer.
The fact that he never had a first name was something I could not get past. His Coach called him by his last name, Cooper, once. His friends never called him by name, nothing. I think maybe one other time he was called by his last name. Someone with do much importance in the story to not have a name? I’d love to know why.
Love “a biography of someone I didn’t want to know”. No truer words. I found it emotionless and pretentiously preachy. DNF
