These books of "Christian fiction" always have a few humans who are monstrous, jealous, vindictive, destructive .... even though they go to church.
This guy was just mean and manipulative, but he would’ve died before even looking at a church. He tricked the main character’s father into serving jail time for him when the father was innocent and practically forced the FMC’s mom to work in a cabaret until she died.
