OMG! I kept feeling like I forgot to do something after the snow and ice were clearing up here in Virginia, but I couldn't put my finger on it, and you were all to nice to smack me and say "What are we reading in March?"Well... drum roll... our group read for March is ... anticipated silence ... Into the Promised Land by Sarah Heatwole! Thanks for the nomination, Sylvia.
This made my day! I hope you are encouraged by Into the Promised Land. It is available on KU, Amazon, B&N and at my publisher's website. Masthof.com. I'll be sure to post some questions. Thank you Sylvia for the nomination. Sylvia is my grandma's name and one of the main characters in the book.

I am so excited to read this, and even more so hearing your grandmother's name, and a character's name is Sylvia, AND it is available in KU! My name comes from my Mom's line, along generations way back. Again, Congratulations!

So far, the authors exempt from nomination, since we've already selected one of their books this year, is Sheelagh Aston and Wanda Brunstetter, although we may make exceptions for novella collections that include one of these authors. If you're not sure if your book is eligible for nomination, please leave a comment and one of the moderators will get back to you!
Rules:
1. Any Amish-themed novel is eligible.
2. One nomination per person.
3. If two people nominate the same book, each person's vote counts. So the book will feature twice in the list to give each vote an equal chance.
4. Nominations run until the 14th of the month, with the winner announced on the 15th.
5. The winning book is chosen using Random.org to make it completely fair.
6. Please don't nominate a book we have already read. You can see our list of previous group reads here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... or look at the group read's bookshelf here: https://www.goodreads.com/group/books... (it includes the Christian group read as well).
7. Only nominate the first book in a series UNLESS we have already read #1 (see above link). In this case, #2 is then eligible for nomination!
