sad book recs > Likes and Comments

im rereading releasing 10 rn (i love pain) and i have come to the realization that i literally only read sad books lol. am i going to change that? no. so, does anybody have any sad book recs?

hmm, it's kind of hard to beat the pain and sadness of that series but i have a few in mind that made me sob or that i've heard is sad.

catch the sun (still beating is another by that author that i haven't read but it's supposedly really dark and emotional)
a thousand boy kisses + a thousand broken pieces
as the rain falls (apparently similar to releasing 10)
