Wendy, a very belated thank you for your reviews of this novel (and your reviews for the Catrin Sayer Mysteries). I confess that I fail to pay adequate attention to Goodreads. In the past, I found it (from an author viewpoint) awkward to use. Hopefully I will improve. To answer your question, though, as you may have picked up already, the characters of Harriet Calder and Susan Carlson develop in the sequels, Compline and Chalice. They are also more straightforward 'missing person cold case' and 'track down other victims' central plots than the storyline of Canons.
