Great review, Cindy! The topic of creating espionage gadgets to deliver to war prisoners was also part of Kristina McMorris' book "The Ways We Hide". So fascinating!

Thank you ever so much:) It was an enlightening story I must say! Not too long either nor too sappy etc... I will gladly read her books again as I kind of give an author "one chance" these days as so many wonderful possibilities to read that I won't bother with another if I wasn't enthused. I did read one so far Of Kristina's books; something about letters as I can't remember the title right now...I enjoyed that one of hers! :)
Through Monopoly games? Fascinating! I'd never heard that before. This sounds like a good historical read.

Thank you so much! Yes, at times there is often still more than we can learn about that's for sure :) In that Barbour type series, another marvelous one is Season of my Enemy by Naomi Musch about German POW on American farms. Also quite interesting.
