Sara Hi everyone, so I'm looking for recommendations within the Fantasy/Paranormal Romance genre. I do have a few I need to read but I'm just not feeling them at the moment. I was wondering whether to start the BDB books by JR Ward again but...

Anyway any recommendations would be welcome :)

Cozen You should continue looking into Ilona Andrews series.

Burn for Me (Hidden Legacy, #1) by Ilona Andrews Burn for Me
And
Clean Sweep (Innkeeper Chronicles, #1) by Ilona Andrews Clean Sweep
They’re slow burn but each get better as you go.

Patricia Briggs series:
Moon Called (Mercy Thompson, #1) by Patricia Briggs Moon Called
Also a slow burn

Jane Cousins series Southern Sanctuary:
To Woo A Warrior (Southern Sanctuary, #1) by Jane Cousins To Woo A Warrior
Far more funnier than the others.

Kresley Cole’s Immortals After Dark series: I’d start with
Wicked Deeds on a Winter's Night (Immortals After Dark, #3) by Kresley Cole Wicked Deeds on a Winter's Night

K.F. Breene series:
Born in Fire (Fire and Ice Trilogy, #1; Demon Days, Vampire Nights, #1) by K.F. Breene Born in Fire
There are two spin off series from this one.

Sara Thank you both, I've had a look at them but don't fancy them to be honest. I may just try and restart BDB.

Maureen Vercruysse What about Kayla Edwards House of Devils series? It’s modern urban fantasy with found family and great banter.

Sara Thanks Rachel, I've had a look but don't fancy it. With the House of Devils series and BDB I'll be good for now.

M.R. My new book is great. Patting myself on the..lol.
Jazz lives on the run, constantly evading the Bruens and the harshness of human society. But when she stumbles upon a brutal assault on a group of captive women, her world is upended. Before she can act, a mysterious alien arrives, swiftly dispatching the attackers, leaving Jazz both bewildered and captivated.

Zev, seeks sanctuary on Earth already claimed by the formidable Demonbruens. Amidst the unfamiliar terrain and hostile inhabitants, Zev crosses paths with Jazz, a brave human determined to liberate the captives from their tormentors.

As the fate of his species hangs in the balance, Zev must navigate the delicate balance between duty and desire, between a quest to save his people and a love that could reignite his spirit.

Agneeshikha Perhaps you can check out my book 'Bride of Ashena'! It's a paranormal romance (werewolf+human, fated).
You can check out the book and reviews (4.13) on my profile.
:)

message 12: by DemetraP (new)

DemetraP I just finished and loved Don't Hex and Drive. He is a rich vampire and Bollywood movie star. He is also a vampire enforcer who solves crimes.

She is a witch who likes to garden and volunteer at the local animal shelter. He accidentally hits her with his car while she is riding her bicycle. He tries to charm her. She is not charmed. He has to work really hard to get her to agree to go on a date with him.

Very steamy scenes. He bites her sometimes.

message 16: by Nova (new)

Nova Shine Maybe you can check out the "Amazing Ex-Wife Come Back Please" series by the author Nova Shine. It combines romance and werewolf novels, has a relatively fast pace, and the strong female lead is not frustrating to read about.Amazing Ex Wife: Come Back Please-Season1

V.R. Tapscott Sara wrote: "Hi everyone, so I'm looking for recommendations within the Fantasy/Paranormal Romance genre. I do have a few I need to read but I'm just not feeling them at the moment. I was wondering whether to s..."

I'd be remiss as an author if I didn't plug my own books here - no vampires, but Lacey & Alex is paranormal/detective/romance and LGBT to boot. Easiest is to search on Amazon for V.R. Tapscott.

The Vampire in the Potting Shed is a great beginning to a series. I've greatly enjoyed it so far.

If you've never read the Dresden series by Jim Butcher, now is the time to start! He just released a new one in late January and it's probably his best. At least I think so.

And of course, Matt Dinniman's Dungeon Crawler Carl series, although that's not really so much paranormal as supernormal. :-)

Have a good one!

V.R.

J.D. Goland If you like shows like Supernatural and Sandman, and graphic novels like Lucifer and John Constantine’s Hellblazer, then the Sahara Chonicles: The Midnight is right up your alleyway. My newest novel features the Gaelic Enchantress, Sahara, one of the few humans who can walk in the human world and behind the veil called The Echo, a place where all the magical creatures of the world can hide from the humans. But she is far from interested in dealing with either side of the world. She is just looking for the next thing she is interested in. But when children start disappearing on both sides of the echo, she reluctantly breaks her rule of not getting involved. Little does she know, her involvement will place her in the crosshairs of some very dangerous people. Join her on KU, as she runs through the dark streets of Charleston, Wv as she tries to track down the Midnight Express with her soul still intact!
