I'm Gord and I'm a bit of a reading and challenge addict. I tend to do better with longer or open ended challenges as I rely on the library for all my books. I've been thinking about joining another challenge group so the invite for this was well timed.

Hey, I'm Nico. I'm almost exclusively a fantasy and comic reader (I get more than enough of the real world just by living in it tyvm) though I like historical too. I love LGBTQ+/diverse fiction. I'm pretty quiet with online chatter but I'm here for the challenges, they really help me read more and have fun with it :)

Hi I'm Carmen. I've been a member of GR for quite some time and like to thank Amber J. for the invite. I've enjoyed many things on GR, challenges, buddy reads and team challenges and many more. I've been off GR for some time this year and slowing getting back into things to keep my head on straight and not lose my mind. I do have a bad habit of forgetting to update but I eventually do. LOL I've enjoyed reading all my life and GR has made my reading levels skyrocket and I've been introduced to many new books and genres. I'm still not a major fan of historical unless its highlanders or Scottish MCs but I keep trying :-)

Hi all! I'm Gustaf. I've been on GR since 2017 but only started doing challenges and stuff last year when I stumbled upon a 6 month Scavenger Hunt challenge. After that I was hooked. I'm both working and studying at the time, but I always make sure to get some time for reading as well. I read almost exclusively MM romance but years of working at a book store has made me very open minded for anything. I can't wait to join some of these challenges.

Hello. My name is Scott. I've been on GR for several years. I tend not to follow groups much because I find my reading interests don't always match others'. I like to read biographies and non-fiction, mostly related to US History, general fiction and literature, and some YA titles. I tend to alternate between longer, heavier, "serious" books (my history and biographies as well as some literature) and quicker, easier reads. Currently, every other book is a Harry Potter title -- I'll be starting Prisoner of Azkaban today. I've read the whole serious a few times.

I have liked a couple of the Discworld books but can't read most of them without feeling dejected.

I'm Lisa (Thanks Gustaf for the add). I like reading challenges as they help me pick out my next book. My TBR is currently over 475 and my list to review to see if I should add to my TBR is over 100 items. Don't know that I will ever get through them. I like some group challenges but prefer the individual ones. I have my own tracking spreadsheet where I track my TBR and challenges and progress.I read primarily Romance and 95% MM romance. I like to read for the escape and other types don't allow for that escape for the most part.

Hi all. I'm Tj. I live in South Texas right now (might move in the next year to year and a half.) Stay at home wife, empty nester, and keeper to one spoiled Bassett Hound ;) I read mostly romances, in all categories but history right now. I also read true crime and on rare occasions battle histories. I have been on GR a long time but have just came back after being gone for several years. Thanks Gustaf for the invite. Looking forward to seeing what I might be able to challenge myself with!

Hi everyone, I'm Nicky. I've been a member of Goodreads for a very long time like most of you. However, I've been on a 4-year hiatus due to my studies but now I am back, just in time to join a new group. I am usually not good at keeping up with challenges, but I feel I'll be much better this time around. 99.9999..% of the books that I read are romance novels. The other 0.000...1% is reserved for manga and historical especially memoirs.

Welcome, Debbie. I'm sorry to hear about your book club. But I know what it's like to be the only person in your life that reads. Although my husband does listen to audiobooks, but he doesn't enjoy book discussions.
I'm hoping to get a Book of the month and a buddy reads system up and running within the next few months, so hopefully, we will be able to help fill some of that.
In the meantime feel free to join in any challenges that look good to you and you can join in on Chit Chat. Starting in December I'm going to start a topic of the month thing so that should be fun too. :)
