Thank you, Jeff. Although the news is evolving so quickly that I don't think a book can keep up with it! It does help frame current events through the lens of previous events though.
You're right about the news cycle. Desert Storm vet myself and purchased this after your Sean Ryan interview. I'm often reminded of the saying that history doesn't repeat itself, but it sure does rhyme.
I always went with "Those who cannot remember history are condemned to repeat it." Sometimes it's almost like a feeling of deja vous.
