Great review. What do you make of the author’s comment, in the Acknowledgments, that Carlson “is the only person who could pull that off” referring to what candidate could adopt trumps policies and also might have the showmanship and charisma to appeal to maga.
interesting...I suppose he means that few people have Tucker's sense of where the money/opportunities are at and are totally lacking in scruples?
I don't agree that "he went crazy" simply that, although he saw Trump's deficiencies, he also found him too convenient a vessel to accomplish many conservative goals. He compromised and was also swept along by his ambitions; that does not amount to "going crazy."
