Cover updated - duplicate editions > Likes and Comments

I updated covers and created new editions. Can you confirm that the newest cover is the primary edition, I am trying to ensure that the search shows the newest version, not the old cover. Please let me know if I am missing anything. Or need to provide additional information. Thank you

You did OK with the paperback and hardcover edition (usually I leave a note at the Description so that users that search by ISBN are able to find the old cover edition too.

Not so good with the digital edition. By creating an 'ebook' edition with the new cover, what will happen, eventually, the Kindle edition will update its cover and you'll have a duplicate (two digital editions with the same cover)

I don't really know how top advise here, but maybe you should put the old cover in the ebook edition you created, and update the Kindle to the new cover. Or you can just delete the ebook edition you created, as it doesn't have any identifier.

About the edition that shows first, at this moment it's the hardcover edition wit the old cover, which is natural, as it is the edition with more shelvings. But you, as a GR author, can set another edition as the default one, and that will be th eone that shows up when people search by title/author.
