Great book, but nowhere near as good as Joe Haldeman's "The Forever War." Also, unlike this one, it doesn't have the pro-militaristic slant.

I agree that Haldeman's novel was better. Haldeman also had a more anti-war vibe, despite the fact that he was a Vietnam vet. Or perhaps precisely because of it...
