While many years have passed since this book was published posthumously in 1965, it still resonates with me as such a confessional revelation. I recently read the book again and feel it is rather appropriate for our times 60+ years later. My only concern is what poems were not included since her abusive husband Ted Hughes had control over her estate. I guess it's amazing that a poem like "Lady Lazarus" made the cut. What are your thoughts?
