I hate being in the minority that doesn’t like a book, because people get so defensive, but it’s good to be honest! Esp because there’s a lot of people who leave fake nice reviews! I would much rather read an honest one. Hope your next read is better!

You're my kind of reader. Keep that point of view, it will serve you well. If an author is asking you to suspend too much disbelief, they are no longer writing a story, they are writing a fairy tale. Those can be great, but you should know which is which going in.
