Yeah, must've been a you issue. It does have a somewhat thick plot, and looks like you prefer romance novels, which typically don't require much thought to follow. It is the first of a SERIES (ie not everything is explained in the first book). So I'm not sure why you bothered taking a giveaway novel in a genre that is clearly not for you (YA Adventure) and then think that your feedback of "I kept falling asleep" would be helpful. But sure, give a low rating to an indie author, that'll be helpful to no one.
