Scott There was a big sale on the Kindle version early last month ($2.99 US) and I picked it up then. I actually voted for Slow Gods but I was going to read this one too from reading what others had said about it. I was more in the mood right now for something like Of Monsters and Mainframes (my preferred pick at the start of the tournament) but either finalist was fine with me!

terpkristin Yay, I enjoyed this book thoroughly. It had maybe a slow start but things get rolling and then they don't really stop. I quite enjoyed it. Looking forward to the conversations. I didn't nominate anything because I failed but I definitely would have nominated/seconded/thirded whatever it. And I voted for it in each round.

Chris K. I'm glad this won. I hope others enjoy it as much as I did.

John (Taloni) Taloni I passed twice on a quick-loan 7 day read since I am still reading the Warhammer book. Hope I don't regret that decision...

David I enjoyed this thoroughly but was bummed to find out this is but the first book in a trilogy and it is the only one out so far

Robyn Russell (Robynsbookshelf) I really loved this one! It was unique and the characters complex. Looking forward to book 2.
