I know what you mean Jan- I usually like being cast back hundreds of years too but this one worked well as it was more of a science focus.

Great review, Christy. I appreciate how you put it in fuller historical and current contexts. (I've had a fascination with Hanford ever since I found it by accident while driving from NY to Seattle. I remember that the high school sports teams were the Atoms and their mascot was the atomic symbol.)

We were not allowed to make snow ice cream when there was too much potential 'fallout' in the air. Real to me.

What a road trip Fran. I can’t believe they had an atomic symbol as a mascot after all the literal fallout from the site! 😱
