The first novel, Wolves at the Gate, tells the story of another Second World War, where a twist in Adolf Hitler’s youth sends the Axis against an unprepared UK and US. After England and the Middle East fall, the Axis invade Hawaii and America, tearing Army Lt. Jim Fraser from his wife Florrie and their twin girls trapped behind enemy lines. The shattering second novel, Wolves at the Gate: Guerrilla War, continues the saga. After the invasions, the Axis are an the move. Field Marshal Erwin Rommel’s panzer army blitzes north to capture Washington D.C. and force a United States surrender, while the Japanese land on the west coast to make their own territorial claims on America. Guerrillas rise up against the invaders, buying General George Patton’s Third Army time to prepare a desperate counterattack. Believing his wife perished during the invasion, Cpt. Fraser keeps fighting for his Baker Company family in an increasingly desperate battle. Meanwhile, Florrie and her girls embark on a journey across the occupied zone to reach Free America, but the closer they get to safety, the more dangerous the war becomes. In the first week of its release, readers rewarded the second novel three 5 star ratings. ★★★★★
